Russia's IRBM Attack on Ukraine

On the Wednesday of November 21st, 2024, Russia launched a confirmed attack upon
Dnipro, a Ukrainian village.
This attack was initially thought to be a ICBM (Inter Continental Ballistic Missile) by Ukranian
experts, but was later confirmed by Putin
to be
a new, expiremental missile known as the IRBM (Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missile).
This was a non-nuclear, hypersonic missile with a wide range, confirmed the Russian President. (not a direct quote)
Putin says his missilemen has named the missile that hit the hit the city, the "Oreshnik", which is Russian for "Hazelnut Tree" or "the Hazelnut".
According to the Kremlin and the Pentagon, the United States was notified 30 minutes prior to the launch of the missile,
through the National Nuclear Risk Reduction Center.
Following this attack, Putin issued a warning, stating "We consider ourselves entitled to use our weapons against
the military facilities of those countries that allow their weapons to be used against our facilities, and in the event of an escalation of aggressive
actions, we will respond just as decisively and in kind," which was regarded by the Pentagon as a "dangerous, reckless rhetoric".
